Giving Back

Young Helping Young

Through our partnerships with Vogel Alcove & Friends of the Children, every Truman Factory sale helps provide food, shelter, education and mentorship to children in poverty. With our newer partners Gamers Outreach and Coalition of Parents in Esports (COPE) we have extended our support for the young into the gaming community.

Truman at Vogel Alcove

Truman has always felt inspired to help other kids and teens in need. With Truman Factory™ he saw an epic opportunity to give back to his community and create a culture where the young help the young.

Truman did a search around the US for a charity focused on kids and teens. He was fortunate to have found Friends of the Ch1ldren. With 22 locations in 13 states and 540 schools, Fr1ends provides paid mentors to kids 4 years old through 12th grade to help empower and achieve their goals. A portion of all Truman Factory™ bagged candy helps provide mentors to the young who need it.

Truman Factory started and is based in Dallas, TX and ever since the start, sales of Truman Bars™ have been supporting Vogel Alcove, a facility whose mission is to help children recover from the effects of homelessness. A portion of all Truman Bar™ sales helps pay for food, shelter and education for homeless children.

Friends of the Children selects children aged 4-6 who are experiencing or are at risk of foster care and pairs them with a highly-trained, salaried, professional mentor (called a Friend) who stays with them through graduation – 12+ years, no matter what.

While we donate a percent of the Truman Factory candy profits, we welcome you to support FOTC directly.

So every Truman Factory sale helps provide food, shelter, education and mentorship to children in poverty.

Approximately 3,000 children in Dallas go to sleep each night without a home of their own. Vogel Alcove is a place that’s on a mission to help children recover from the effects of homelessness.Vogel Alcove serves as many as 200 children each day, allowing them to learn, grow and thrive in a place free from hunger or trauma.

While we donate a percent of the Truman Bar profits, we welcome you to support Vogel Alcove directly.
